Tutorial Exercise 6 - 9th February 2013

In this tutorial we were asked to make a painting out of a sketch. 

I started off taking different shades of brown and applied the paint using the brush tool onto different layers of the sketch. From then on I used the smudge tool in certain areas to give the painting a finished touch.

 I wanted to create a sort of textural idea where I was not so concerned of the choice of colour but to the details of certain parts of the painting. Hence this is what I came up with.

Tutorial Exercise 3 - 22nd January 2013

This tutorial  mainly focused on the different ways of shading using the brush tool as well as the smudge tool in certain defined areas. the shading of the sphere is not as easy as it appears as it needs layers and layers of shading, starting from the bottom to top, to give a balanced look to it.
